World Bank Group 2022 Africa Education Fellowship Program
The World Bank Group -Africa Education Fellowship Program seeks master’s degree holders with three to four years of relevant experience who are completing or have just finished a Ph.D. in an area related to the World Bank’s education activity.
This education-specific fellowship program is based on the WBG Africa Fellowship Program’s overall methodology.
The World Bank Group Africa Education Fellowship Program’s Goals and Benefits
WBG-Africa Education Fellows will be able to do the following:
- Improve your knowledge of the WBG’s mission and activities.
- To help them with their study, they may have access to high-quality data.
- Interact with development specialists who have years of experience in the subject of education.
- Contribute to the general objective of the WBG
World Bank Group Africa Education Fellowship Program | Eligibility Criteria
- Be a citizen of Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Be a recent Ph.D. graduate (within three years of completion) or enrolled in the last year of a Ph.D. program with a master’s degree and three to four years of relevant experience.
- Have a strong knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken. It is extremely desired to be fluent in other languages, such as French and Portuguese.
Strong mathematical and analytical abilities are required. - By the time the application closes, you must be under the age of 32.
- Young African women who are eligible, particularly those interested in education technology, are urged to apply.
Selection process for the World Bank Groups Education Fellowship Program
There are two stages to the selection process:
In the first phase, a shortlist of candidates will be made available for hiring to the WBG’s various Education units, based on the applicants’ specializations and the units’ business requirements.
Applicants will be advised of their application status, as well as whether or not they have been selected.
The final list of fellows will be chosen in the second round, in cooperation with the WBG’s several Education divisions.
All shortlisted applicants will be notified of their selection status after the selection process is completed.
