WomHub Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Program 2022
Are you a South African female entrepreneur wanting to expand your engineering business? Now is the time to apply for the WomHub Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Program 2022.
This year-long in-person and virtual program will give you leadership development as well as intense entrepreneurial assistance for your career advancement in the engineering and technology industries.
Engineering enterprises improve the economy and the future for everybody. The Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Program, sponsored by WomHub, is intended to foster the growth of South African women-owned firms in the SMME (Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprise) sector. The Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Program will run from March 2022 to March 2023 and will be open to fifteen (15) qualified South African female entrepreneurs.
The program includes live master courses, one-on-one venture clinics, and in-person working sessions, as well as access to WomHub’s unique innovation and co-working environment in Johannesburg.
The goal of the Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Program is to assist South Africa’s future generation of entrepreneurs by providing:
- Expertise in technical engineering to help with commercialization and scaling
- Awareness and insights about personal growth
- Tools for company development and expansion
- For developing SMMEs, one-on-one company finance mentoring is available.

WomHub Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Program | Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old and identify as a woman.
- The applicant must be a South African citizen.
- The applicant must have created or co-founded a small to medium-sized enterprise (SMME) in South Africa. The principal candidate in a co-founded firm must be a woman and a South African citizen;
- Any product, technology, or service in the engineering and technology area qualifies as an applicant business.
The applicant must be able to commit to a one-year program beginning in March 2022 and ending in March 2023.
How to Apply
- The online application form must be used to submit your application. There will be no other forms of application accepted.
- Applicants will be screened and shortlisted by an experienced panel.
- Interviews will be conducted with those who have been shortlisted.
- By March 14, 2022, successful candidates will be contacted.
- Successful candidates will get further information on the program’s delivery.
