The WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award 2022 is now accepting applications. The WIN WIN Youth Award is an international award that seeks to inspire and recognize young people who work to create a more sustainable future.

You may now submit a person or an organization between the ages of 13 and 29 for the WIN WIN Youth Award, whose aquaculture effort might contribute to enhanced efficiency and sustainability, and thereby to one or more of the United Nations’ global objectives.

Theme 2022: SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE

Today, food production accounts for about 25% of all greenhouse gas emissions and is the leading cause of biological variety loss, deforestation, and endangered fish populations. We need to look at the potential – and problems – that blue and green foods might give in order to address the world’s future food supply.

WIN WIN Youth Award applicants must be between the ages of 13 and 29 and show a recent or continuing project, effort, or initiative that contributes to sustainable aquaculture.

Award

At the WIN WIN Award event in Gothenburg, Sweden, the winner of the WIN WIN Youth Award will earn SEK 50,000.
The WIN WIN Award organization arranges travel and lodging.

WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award | Eligibility Criteria

Individuals, organizations, and movements from all over the globe with members aged 13 to 29 are welcome to join.
WIN WIN Youth Award applicants should demonstrate a recent or continuing project, effort, or initiative that contributes to sustainable aquaculture.
