VIT Academic Scholarship Program in Australia 2022

The Victorian Institute of Technology in Australia is accepting applications for the VIT Academic Scholarship Program for the academic year 2022/23.

VIT Academic Scholarship

Furthermore, it offers practical courses to assist you in mastering skills that you can immediately apply to your career.

Worth of Scholarship

There are up to 38 VIT Scholarships available for this program, split between the EQUITY and ACADEMIC streams. They are as follows:

  • Women in Information Technology Scholarship – 1 x Full tuition fees (awarded for the full term of study)
  • 1 x Full tuition fees (for the full term of study)
  • 2 x 50% tuition fees (for the full term of study)
  • 4 x 25% tuition fees (for the full term of study)
  • 30 x $3,000 one-off bursary amount (payable after successful completion of a student’s 1st semester of full-time studies only)
  • 75% tuition fee reduction for all eligible Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.

Requirements for the VIT Academic Scholarship | Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be an Australian citizen or an international  student.
  • VTAC registration is required.
  • Complete all course prerequisites.
  • Either be eligible for FEE-HELP or be a full-charge-paying student with a tuition fee gap.
  • Be a first-year student enrolled full-time in a VIT BITS, MITS, or MBA program.
  • The applicant’s ATAR score, as assessed by VTAC, shall be the major selection factor for an ACADEMIC scholarship. When the ATAR results of two or more students are the same, the English and Mathematics scores will be weighted.

How to Apply for the VIT Academic Scholarship

Through the VTAC procedure, all applicants who choose VIT’s program will be immediately eligible for an Academic Scholarship.
