The University of Ottawa Excellence Scholarship for African Students enrolled in a full-time study program for the 2022/2023 session is now accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates.

The University is proud of its international student body’s diversity.

This scholarship is available to international students who are African citizens and will be admitted in the fall of 2022 or later.

Details

African students enrolled in one of the specified undergraduate programs in the faculties of Engineering, Science, or Social Sciences are eligible for this scholarship.

Depending on the program, this significant financial contribution reduces their tuition fees by $17,500 to $25,000, depending on the program.

This grant will be immediately awarded to all qualifying students upon enrollment. It will be applied to their tuition fees directly.

This scholarship cannot be combined with the African Students Studying in English Entrance Scholarship.

The following criteria must be met in order to be considered for the University of Ottawa Excellence Scholarship for African Students Studying in English:

Comply with the program’s admissions requirements;

Be enrolled in a university undergraduate program full-time for the first time;

Become a true African.

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have the necessary academic averages.

How to Apply: Interested students must apply for scholarships and bursaries as soon as they have completed their application to the University of Ottawa and received their uoAccess ID and password.

All applications for scholarships and bursaries must be filed online via Online Scholarships and Bursaries. Typically, application forms are available two months prior to the deadline.
