UNICAL Admission List. The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has published the list of candidates who have been given provisional admission to the university’s different first-degree programs for the academic year 2021/2022.

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has published the list of successful candidates in the university’s Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The UNICAL admission list, which includes the names of candidates who have been given provisional admission to the university’s numerous first-degree programs, has been posted online.

How to Check UNICAL Admission List

Currently, prospective students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) may only verify their admission status on the JAMB admission status checking portal by following the steps below:

  • Visit the JAMB portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility/ to check your UNICAL admission status.
  • Use your username and password to access your Jamb profile.
  • Scroll down to the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab and click it.
  • Choose your Exam year and fill in the necessary section with your registration number.
  • Finally, go to ‘Check Admission Status’ to find out whether you’ve been admitted to UNICAL.

Candidates admitted into first-degree programs at the University of Calabar (UNICAL) are advised to:

  • Accept or reject their admission by logging into the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
  • After accepting the admission, they should print their JAMB admission letter.
  • Print their JAMB result slip in its original format (this comes with passport photography affixed to it).
  • If students are given courses other than the ones they originally applied for, they may request a change of course using the JAMB Portal.

NOTE: As soon as the list is accessible on the university’s website, this post will be updated.

CANDIDATES WHOSE NAMES APPEAR ON THIS LIST SHOULD PRINT THE ADMISSION STATUS SLIP AND KEEP IT FOR SCREENING AT THEIR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS. THEY SHOULD PAY THEIR ACCEPTANCE FEE ON THE ETRANZACT PLATFORM AT ANY COMMERCIAL BANK OR UNICAL MICROFINANCE BANK.

How to Buy UNICAL Admission Checker Pin

With their JAMB registration number and UTME admission checker cards, prospective UNICAL students may check their admission status. The method for purchasing a UNICAL admission checker PIN is outlined below.

Option for e-transact:

This option is accessible in all commercial banks nationwide. You must pay and acquire an E-transact PIN at the bank. After inputting the PIN, go to https://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link, then follow the portal’s instructions after logging in.

Buy Admission Status Checker Pin Online option:

This option allows you to buy a pin for the Admission Status Checker via the portal. To buy the Admission Status Checker pin, go to Buy Admission Status Checker Pin Online. Log in to the portal using the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN.

Scratch Card Option:

This option is only available inside the Calabar Metropolis at the following banks:

  • UMFB, University of Calabar
  • Heritage Bank, Calabar Road
  • Wema Bank, Murtala Muhammed H/Way
  • First City Monument Bank, Calabar Road

NOTE:

  • Candidates whose names appear on this list are instructed to log into the JAMB portal within 72 hours of this release to either ACCEPT or REJECT their admission offers, failure which their admission may be reversed.
  • Those who have not yet been admitted but whose scores fall under the official cut-off point for the relevant subject combination are recommended to visit the school portal on a regular basis to know about their admissions status.
  • Candidates are recommended to go to the Jamb portal to accept admission if they have not done that already.
