Shim Law Scholarship for the Next Generation of Leaders is currently accepting applications from eligible candidates for the year 2022.

Shim Legal is a full-service law practice with offices in Calgary, Alberta. The Annual Shim Law Scholarship was established because they are continually seeking ways to help the next generation of leaders.

This year, they want to concentrate on family law and have their two themes revolve around it. You may apply for this scholarship by selecting one of the themes listed below.

What kind of social media evidence do courts look at or examine more or less in family law cases?
What must be included in a cohabitation or prenuptial agreement to make it legally binding? What are the advantages of establishing such an agreement before marrying or entering into a common-law relationship?

You must utilize an infographic to illustrate the themes and trustworthy statistics to back up your statements. Include a case law analysis, and make sure to credit any facts you utilize in your report.

Scholarship: The scholarship award value is $1,000.

Shim Law Scholarship Eligibility

Any student enrolled in any post-secondary program at a Canadian or American university or college is eligible.
Any number of years of study.
The winner will be determined by how innovative and insightful their responses are to the questions above. Our staff at Shim Law will go over it.
Applicants must create an infographic on one of the themes listed above.
The deadline for applications is June 30, 2022, at 12:00 a.m.; any applications received after that time will be rejected.
When completing your scholarship application, provide evidence of enrollment.
