Rest and Refuge Fellowship Program for journalists 2022

The Rest and Refuge Fellowship Program 2022 is now accepting applications.

Rest and Refuge Fellowship Program

They will invite two journalists from nations with limited press freedom to Berlin in 2022.

Reporters Without Borders Germany and the Taz Panter Foundation collaborated on the Rest and Refuge Fellowship program.

Participants might choose to entirely retreat from public life and utilize their time in Berlin to focus on their own projects if they so want.

Organizers, on the other hand, give possibilities for additional education, professional networking, and the development of resilience.

All fellows, for example, are offered the option to take a language course and get acquainted with German media channels.

The main purpose, however, is for the fellows to take a sabbatical and return to their home countries stronger.
