The University of Queensland Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships are now accepting applications from adequately qualified students.

Domestic applicants who have completed Year 12 or overseas applicants with equivalent education can apply to the program, which is housed in the university’s School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.
Domestic and foreign students in designated subjects who desire to enroll in a degree program at the University of Queensland are eligible for the University of Queensland Electrical and Computer Science Scholarships.

Queensland Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships Requirement
To be considered for an Electrical and Computer Science Scholarship at the University of Queensland, you must satisfy the following requirements:
- Students must be either native or foreign students to apply.
- In the two years before the award, applicants must have completed Year 12 (or its equivalent in another country).
- Enroll in any of the following programs during the scholarship year or after a one-year delay is approved:
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- Master of Engineering
- Bachelor of Computer Science
- Must not hold another scholarship that the Head of School deems similar.
Application for Queensland Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships
How to Apply: Candidates must apply online for the University of Queensland Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships.
You must supply the following documents:
- Professor Amin Abbosh, Head of School, School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, The University of Queensland, is the recipient of this cover letter.
- Curriculum Vitae (no more than 2 pages)
- Copies of your report card from the 12th grade.
In addition, you must submit a personal statement of no more than 400 words that tackles the following topics:
- Describe your interest in a career in engineering, computer science, or technology.
- Discuss any accomplishments, leadership positions, volunteer work, or community service you’ve done.
