PhD Scholarships in Green Cryptocurrency Technologies are available at RMIT University in Australia for the academic year 2022/23.

PhD Scholarships for the creation of the next generation of Proofs of Space-Time (PoST) consensus protocols for large-scale green cryptocurrency systems, financed by the CloudTech-RMIT Green Cryptocurrency Joint Research Program/Laboratory.

Worth of Scholarship

$32,841 a year for three years, with a six-month extension possible.

International candidates who are accepted will get a tuition cost waiver.

Requirements for the PhD Scholarships in Green Cryptocurrency Technologies

To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a Master’s degree in research; or
  • a Master of Arts in Coursework degree with a good distinction or similar research component; or
  • an Honours degree in Computer Science with first-class honors
  • Applicants with prior research and/or industry expertise in the development of distributed systems/applications will be given priority.
