This is to inform all international students that the PEO International Peace Scholarships for Women to study in Canada or the USA are ongoing.
However, the scholarship for women awards will welcome only postgraduate students who intend to take master’s or Ph.D. degrees abroad.
The International Peace Scholarship Fund, established in 1949, is a program that provides scholarships for selected women from other countries for graduate study in the United States and Canada.

Eligibility for PEO International Peace Scholarships for Women in 2022
To be eligible for the PEO International Peace Scholarships for Women in Canada or in the United State of America.
Applicant must meet the following criteria;
- You must be an international Students
- Have already applied for admission to an accredited university in Canada and the USA.
- Must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study
- Have to work toward a graduate degree in an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada.
- A permanent resident of the United States or Canada is not eligible.
For you to qualify for the first scholarship award.
You must have a full year of coursework continuing, be registered, and be in residence for the entire school year.
Moreover, if you are among the doctoral students who have completed coursework and are working only on dissertations.
It’s to note that you are not eligible to apply for the first-time award but can sort for more detail on how they can help you.
Nevertheless, you are to note that the scholarship award target only women who have demonstrated ability in community development.
Scholarship Worth:
The PEO International Peace Scholarships for Women is provided to the winner as a grant but will not cover the full college expenses.
It’s regarded as GRANTS-IN-AID and is not intended to cover all academic or personal expenses.
However, there is a maximum amount each applicant can benefit from in one (1) year of study which is $12,500, based on your needs.
If your needs are less than the maximum study grant of $12,500 then there is more chance to be awarded the scholarship.
A recipient in graduate school is eligible to apply for one (1) renewal of her scholarship.
She may receive scholarship assistance for no more than two (2)years.
How To Apply for The PEO International Peace Scholarships for Women in 2022
To submit your application for the PEO International Peace Scholarships for Women.
The applicant must first meet the following eligibility criteria before sending her material to the scholarship board.
The eligibility information is available on the official website at any time but the completed form will be accepted electronically in the IPS office.
