The Federal Government of Nigeria, via the Honourable Minister of Education (HME), thus invites interested and eligible Nigerians to take part in the Nigerian Government Scholarship Award 2022 Nomination Computer Based Test (CBT).

The Federal Government Scholarship, dubbed the ‘Nigeria Award Scholarship (NA)’ 2021/2022, is available at Nigerian public tertiary institutions and begins in the fall semester.

Nigerian Government Scholarship Awards Eligibility

• Applicants for postgraduate study must have a first degree with a Second Class Honours Division or above. The applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in a federal or state university.
• All other candidates (UG, HND, NCE) must be full-time students enrolled in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education in their second year or higher. All undergraduate scholarship candidates (including physically challenged students) must have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 4.0 on a five-point scale or equivalents or 5.0 on a seven-point scale.
• On a scale of 4.0, all NCE and HND candidates must have a CGPA of 3.5 or above.
