Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) for young Nigerian graduates – 2021

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), which began on August 31, 2021, is a youth empowerment partnership initiative between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The COVID-19 pandemic, rising unemployment, and the COVID-19 pandemic are all affecting young Nigerians’ ability to find work.

The program aims to match talented graduates with local job opportunities that utilize their skills while also providing them with world-class practical knowledge and skills.

The worth of Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Program prepares the next generation of young leaders to lead the country’s growth by providing them with the tools they need to succeed now.

Other programs and initiatives tend to demand applicants to meet some sort of advanced criterion or lower the entry bar in terms of the types of opportunities accessible. NJFP achieves the exact opposite, accepting talented applicants on an equal footing without jeopardizing the reputation of the organizations that will host successful Fellows.

Fellows will be matched with host organizations based on their personal interests as well as those that are aligned with the organization’s goals:

  • NJFP will pay them a stipend on a monthly basis.
  • At the conclusion of their active participation in the fellowship, the Jubilee Fellow has three clear options:
Jubilee Fellows with exceptional performance may be retained by their host organizations.
  • Fellows who are interested in entrepreneurship will have gained valuable skills and knowledge on the job that will help them pursue other opportunities.
