For the academic year 2022/2023, North Dakota State University is accepting applications for NDSU Undergraduate International Student Scholarships in the United States.

Worth of Scholarship

As a result, the NDSU Undergraduate International Student Scholarships are valued at the following:

  • 3.5 – 4.0 U.S. cGPA equivalent: $12,000 ($1,500/semester)
  • 3.0 – 3.49 U.S. cGPA equivalent: $8,000 ($1,000/semester)

  • Academic records are evaluated at the time of admission to NDSU, and awards are provided based on those records.
  • This is done by calculating the applicant’s cumulative Grade Point Average (cGPA) in the United States.

How to Apply for the NDSU Undergraduate Scholarships

When sending in your applications for the NDSU Undergraduate International Student Scholarships, utilize the keyword search:

Students seeking January admission can apply for the “NDSU International Spring Award,” whereas students wanting May or August admission should apply for the “NDSU International Fall Award.”

Please keep in mind that applications go live on the Academic Works website on September 1 of each academic year.

Deadline: You must be admitted to NDSU by July 1 (for August start) or January 1 (for January start) (for January start).

Extremely Important

Many scholarship offers have different deadline deadlines. Allow plenty of time to complete the NDSU Academic Scholarship Application and any Supplemental Applications/Questions if you want to be considered for a scholarship.

Most scholarship options for incoming freshmen and transfer students begin on September 1st, thus those that say “Ended” may not be open yet. Scholarships for presently enrolled NDSU students begin each year on December 1st.

It’s also worth noting that in order to apply for the scholarship, you must first have gotten an acceptance letter from NDSU. Similarly, before you may be considered for the award, you must complete the General Application in the award system.
