Eligibility: To be eligible for Molecular Modelling of Sugar Chemistry Scholarships, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree with honors class IIA or equivalent from an authorized institution; or
  • Master’s degree in coursework with a 5.65 overall grade point average on a 7-point UQ scale, with appropriate research experience, as authorized by the dean; or
  • On a case-by-case basis, a postgraduate degree (at least one year full-time or equivalent) with an overall grade point average of 5 on a 7-point UQ scale and demonstrable research experience equal to honours class IIA would be considered; alternatively
  • A bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of relevant research experience, including publications in peer-reviewed journals, is required.
