Miles Morland Foundation Scholarship: Applications for the Miles Morland Foundation Scholarship for African authors are now being accepted for the 2022 academic year at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.
The Miles Morland Foundation African Writers’ Scholarship is given to an MA Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) student at the School of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing.

Miles Morland Foundation Scholarship 2022 | Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be considered for the Foundation Scholarship 2022:
- Postgraduate African students must apply to undertake a full-time programme at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom.
- In terms of fee classification, applicants must be classified as “international” students.
- Applicants must be pursuing a Masters of Art in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) or MA Biography and Creative Non-Fiction with a focus on Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing.
- Applicants must be willing to follow the University of East Anglia’s norms and regulations governing student behavior, as well as be excellent advocates for the Miles Morland Foundation Scholarship.
- Applicants should also take into account the fact that both parents were born in Africa. (If the scholarship is offered on this basis, UEA must receive copies of both parents’ passports as proof at the time the scholarship is accepted.)
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized university and must have demonstrated high educational or academic success.

To be considered for the Miles Morland Foundation Scholarship 2022, interested students must complete an online application form before the deadline.
Please note that in order to be considered for the scholarship program, you must have submitted both your scholarship application and your MA in Creative Writing (Prose Fiction) application by the application deadline.
