You must meet the following requirements to be considered for a La Trobe University Scholarships:

  • English is a required language.
  • Citizenship of a nation other than Australia or New Zealand is required.
  • Isn’t enrolled in a La Trobe program right now.
  • English language and academic admission standards must be met.
  • Ensure that you are a full-fee paying student.
  • Be a new international student applying for Sem 2, Term 4, 5 and 6 and Summer 1 (2020) and Sem 1, 2 and Summer 1 (2021)
  • Apply to any La Trobe campus to undertake an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
  • Have a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 55 percent or higher and meet the course requirements (Australian Equivalency).

  • Fill up the online application and submit it.
  • Your course application will be assessed and the Scholarship Team will inform you whether you have been successful in receiving a La Trobe Excellence Scholarship, if your selected degree is eligible for the scholarship, and you fulfill the course admission criteria.
  • It is critical that you satisfy any requirements in your scholarship offer (if applicable) and accept your offer as soon as possible after receiving your scholarship award letter (by email).
