Student Exchange Support Program (Scholarship for Short-Term Study in Japan)
International students admitted into a Japanese institution as part of a student exchange arrangement are eligible to apply for JASSO’s Scholarship for Short-Term Study in Japan.
This scholarship provides an 80,000 yen monthly stipend for the duration of your stay in Japan.
Applications for both the exchange program and Kyoto University Japan Scholarships should be submitted via the student’s home institution.
