Admissions based on UTME
- Candidates for admission to the 100 level must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at SSSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent in not more than two sittings; and a score of 120 or above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
- For all categories of students, the university will need credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
- In addition, the university will perform post-JAMB screening to guarantee that only the brightest candidates get admitted. A applicant must fulfill particular departmental standards in addition to the basic admission requirements listed above.
Admissions based on Direct Entry
- Candidates for admission to the 200 level must have five (5) credit passes (including English Language) in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings at the SSSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent.
- Candidates should also have at least two advanced level passes in appropriate topics on the General Certificate of Education test, or
- Ordinary National Diploma or Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) with credit level.
- Passes two of the three IJMB/JUPEB courses.
