The administration of the Kwararafa University, Wukari (KUW) in Taraba State is presently selling post-UTME/Direct Entry screening forms for admission into its various first-degree programs for the academic year 2021/2022.

Kwararafa University Wukari (KUW) was established in 2005 as a community-owned and supported higher education institution accredited by the Nigerian government.

It has three (3) colleges: Social and Management Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences, and Education, and offers 15 undergraduate programs.

The National Universities Commission has accredited all of the programs.

It also has two (2) centers and is working on establishing a post-graduate school.

Admissions at Kwararafa University, Wukari are open to everyone, regardless of ethnicity, tribe, religion, sex, or political affiliation.

In addition to the following general requirements, prospective students must meet all College and Departmental requirements:

Eligibility for Kwararafa University Wukari (KUW) Post UTME/DE Form

Admissions based on UTME

  • Candidates for admission to the 100 level must have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at SSSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent in not more than two sittings; and a score of 120 or above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
  • For all categories of students, the university will need credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
  • In addition, the university will perform post-JAMB screening to guarantee that only the brightest candidates get admitted. A applicant must fulfill particular departmental standards in addition to the basic admission requirements listed above.

Admissions based on Direct Entry

  • Candidates for admission to the 200 level must have five (5) credit passes (including English Language) in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings at the SSSCE, GCE, NECO, or equivalent.
  • Candidates should also have at least two advanced level passes in appropriate topics on the General Certificate of Education test, or
  • Ordinary National Diploma or Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) with credit level.
  • Passes two of the three IJMB/JUPEB courses.
