Kennan Institute Title VIII Summer Fellowships 2022
The Kennan Institute Title VIII Summer Fellowships 2022 are now accepting applications.

Scholars doing research in the social sciences or humanities with a concentration on Russia and other Eurasia nations, and who show a specific need to use the Washington, D.C. area’s library, archive, and other specialist resources, should apply for the summer research fellowship.
It is preferable to do policy-relevant research.
Between May and September, the summer research fellowship must be utilized for two months in a row.
The Kennan Institute is the oldest and biggest regional program within the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and it is the primary US center for advanced study on Russia and Eurasia.
Through study and collaboration, the Kennan Institute aims to improve American knowledge of Russia, Ukraine, and the region.
Cost
- Summer Research Scholarships will give a $7,000 stipend, research facilities, computer support, and some research help for two months. This fellowship does not pay travel or lodging costs directly.
Kennan Institute Title VIII Summer Research Fellowships Requirement
- Applicants must be citizens of the United States.
- Applicants must have a master’s degree or above.

The application form, a project idea and title (no more than 1,000 words), a curriculum vitae with publications, and two letters of reference expressly for the study to be done at the Institute are all necessary.
