IAAC provides you with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to demonstrate your astronomy knowledge and talents in one of the world’s largest astronomical contests for students from all over the globe.
The goal of the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition is to make astronomy and astrophysics accessible to students from all around the world, regardless of their background, school, or institution. For this reason, the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition takes advantage of modern technology and the worldwide connectivity provided by the internet: To join, all you need is a pen, paper, and an internet connection.

- All Participants: Official Participation Certificate
- All Finalists: Bronze Honour, Silver Honour, or Gold Honour

- Prize, Youth: 50 USD Cash Prize, Special 3. Prize Certificate

Process / Rounds
There are three rounds in the IAAC 2022:
Qualification round: There are five astronomy issues in the qualifying round 2022, and you may submit your answers online until May 13, 2022. Certificates are given to all attendees.
Round 1 of the Preliminary Round: Participants who qualify for the pre-final round may register here: You have four days to tackle the pre-final round’s eight difficult questions.
Round of 16: Finalists who advance to the final round include: You will take a 20-minute supervised test. The winners are awarded certificates as well as cash awards totaling over $700 USD.
