Intel-AFCEA Diversity Scholarship for STEM Students in USA 2022

For the academic year 2022/23, Intel, in collaboration with AFCEA, is accepting applications for the Intel-AFCEA Diversity Scholarship for STEM Students in the United States.

This scholarship is for STEM students in the Fall 2022-Spring 2023 term who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate (Master’s or PhD) degree.

Worth of Scholarship

The following are some of the benefits:

  • Scholarships ($5,000 for undergraduates and $10,000 for graduates) are available.
  • An Intel Mentor might be a good fit for you.
  • (internship or full-time) Intel employment, and
  • Intel architecture (hardware/software) and access to training and research
  • collaborating with other Intel researchers, and more.

Requirements for the Intel-AFCEA Diversity Scholarship

The qualified applicant must be (or have been)

  • a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • a member of an underrepresented group (for example, technical women, African-Americans, Latin/Hispanics, and/or Native Americans)
  • a Veteran or active-duty service member, or a “Gold Star Family Member” with a veteran or active-duty service member
  • provided proof
  • a full-time student at a recognized U.S. University presently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate (Master’s or PhD) degree
  • have a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA

Eligible disciplines include:

Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Engineering or Science, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Polymer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Statistics.

How to Apply for the Intel-AFCEA Diversity Scholarship

Completed applications for the Intel-AFCEA Diversity Scholarship include one letter of recommendation, current resume, and official transcript.

Deadline for application: May 31, 2022.
