Idea Hatch Startup Incubation Program 2022
The Idea Hatch Startup Incubation Program 2022/2023 is currently accepting applications.
The National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, is hosting a 5-month free intensive incubation program called Idea Hatch (JICA).
The program was developed to help Nigerian entrepreneurs enhance their business ideas via a series of mentorship, lectures, and boot camps to help them construct scalable company models.
The program’s goals are as follows:
- Entrepreneurs that employ innovative commercial services and products to solve social issues should be supported.
- Create a model incubation program that can be replicated in other Nigerian states.
- Focus assistance on certain IT industries to strengthen the technical ecosystem.
- Make links between startups and potential investors/corporations.
- To raise employment rates, increase the number of successful firms.

Idea Hatch Startup Incubation Program Requirements
- Individuals/groups with a creative business strategy that includes a product or prototype that can help the Nigerian economy grow.
- Individuals/groups interested in forming a legal corporation and starting a business in Nigeria.
- Participants must be 18 years old or older.
- All industries are eligible (e.g. Agritech, fintech, healthtech, etc.).
