Gani Fawehinmi Undergraduate Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship award for students in Nigeria.
However, the organization aim at sponsoring 20 students in a different field for the duration of the study year.
It was in 2018 that the scholarship board announced their two million contributions to the Nigerian students yearly.
So Far, the scholarship board has always been approving 20 students from different universities to the merit list.
Each year, a student will receive N100,000 as the scholarship worth for that session with no subsequent renewal.
Nevertheless, for you to be awarded the scholarship, you have certain requirements to meet as the board directed.
Scholarship Worth
Gani Fawehinmi Undergraduate Scholarship is a one-time payment award.
This means that the student will their fund only once.
The organization will offer you N100,000 as the scholarship worth if you meet all their requirement.
However, 20 students from different universities in Nigeria will win the scholarship award each year.

For you to be eligible for the Gani Fawehinmi Undergraduate Scholarship, you need to meet the following requirements.
- Be a full-time student currently enrolled in any higher institution in Nigeria.
- Have a good academic result.
- The applicant must be from a low economic background.
- All courses in Universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnic are eligible for the scholarship.

To apply for Gani Fawehinmi Undergraduate Scholarship each year.
Applicant must submit their application letter of not more than 2 pages to the scholarship board office.
However, the scholarship board office is located in Abuja, Lagos, and Imo State respectively.
Your letter must first address the scholarship board with your full names, course of study, and current year of study.
In addition to that, your letter must as well mention your state of origin and local government of origin.
Nevertheless, for your scholarship letter to stand out from the rest, you must write your letter with correct grammar – You can use this tool to check your grammar (Grammarly).
The body of your letter must as well state why the scholarship board should choose you for the award.

After you must have written your scholarship letter with all to the end, you need to attach the letter with other documents in an A4 size envelope.
Here are the photocopy documents you need to attach to your scholarship application letter.
- Candidate’s current identity Card
- Letter from your head of Department, including correct information on your CGPA for the last academic session.
- Letter from the Registrar Stated that you are a full-time registered student of the institution.
- A copy of the course registration form for the current semester; and
- Two (2) current passport photographs.

You can send your scholarship letter through postal delivery or submit it directly at the Scholarship Board office.

Successful candidates will be awarded the Scholarship on September 13.
The scholarship award ceremony will be hosted at the Nigerian Law Publications House, Otunba Jobi Fele- Way, C.B.D., Alausa Ikeja, Lagos at 12.00 Noon.
Application Deadline
The deadline for this scholarship is on 18th of August.
Kindly note that students who have once won the scholarship are not eligible.
