FUNAAB Convocation Ceremonies Programme of Events. The 28th and 29th Convocation Ceremonies schedule of activities for the conferment of First Degrees, Postgraduate and Honorary Degrees at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is gearing up for its 28th and 29th Convocation Ceremonies, respectively, for the 2018/2019 and 2019/2022 academic sessions.

FUNAAB Convocation Ceremonies Programme of Events

The Convocation ceremonies, which will be the third to be presided over by Professor Kolawole Salako in his capacity as the University’s sixth substantive Vice-Chancellor, will begin with a Jumat Service at the University Mosque at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 11, 2022, and an Interdenominational Church Service at the Chapel of Grace at 9:30 am on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

The Commissioning of Projects will take place at various project sites on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 10 a.m., followed by a Convocation Press Conference at the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) Centre for Linking Accounting with Business of Developing Economics (LABODE) building immediately after the naming of projects.

The intellectual discourse will take the centre stage on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. The Convocation Lecture will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, and will be followed by the conferment of First Degrees at 11 a.m. at the Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building Auditorium. On Thursday, March 17, 2022, the conferment of Postgraduate Degrees will begin at 10 a.m. at the same venue.

The Convocation Ceremonies are special in that they take place at a time when the Vice-Chancellor is drawing to a conclusion, with the introduction of Emeritus Professorship, the construction of a dam, and the naming of monuments after worthy individuals both within and outside the University.
