Call for Proposals: EmPower Her to Advance Women Energy Entrepreneurs 2022

The EmPower Her to Advance Women Energy Entrepreneurs 2022 call for proposals is now open.

EmPower Her

EmPower Her request for proposals intends to support women energy entrepreneurs in emerging countries by assisting them in closing the finance gap for early-stage ventures, allowing them to swiftly repeat and expand their efforts on the ground.

The Climate Investment Platform (CIP) will fund ideas from (majority) women-led groups or organizations with the main emphasis on women’s empowerment as part of this call for proposals. The initiatives should either directly improve the productivity of demand-side renewable energy consumers or offer a single instrument that combines value-added and renewable energy production.

Benefits

The winning ideas will get up to $40,000 to help them prepare for funding, including business development, feasibility testing, legal and technical requirements, and investor outreach.
