Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) Programme of Excellence in Germany 2022

For the academic year 2022/23, the European Union Commission is accepting applications for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) Programme of Excellence in Germany.

At the master’s level, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are high-level and integrated study programs.

Multinational cooperation of higher education institutions planned and delivered them.

At least three HEIs from three different countries are involved in an EMJM, with at least two of them being the EU Member States and third nations participating with the Programme (previously called Programme Countries).

In addition, additional educational and/or non-educational partners with specialized competence and interest in the subject topic may be included in an EMJM study program.

Worth of Scholarship

Each person receives a monthly stipend of €1,400. (max. 24 months).

Requirements for the EMJM Programme of Excellence

Students who have earned a first higher education degree or shown a recognized comparable level of learning in accordance with national law and procedures in the degree-awarding countries/institutions are eligible to enroll in an EMJM at the Master’s level.

Students who have already received an EMJM scholarship are not eligible to apply for another EMJM scholarship.

Students from all across the globe may apply for EMJM scholarships.

Consortia, on the other hand, should maintain a regional balance. i.e. no more than 10% of all scholarships given throughout project execution shall go to applicants of the same nationality (this rule does not apply to top-up scholarships for targeted regions of the world, if applicable).
