DESY Summer Student Program in Germany 2022 | Fully Funded
The call for applications for the DESY Summer Student Program in Germany 2022 is now open. This program is now available.
This Summer Student Program is open to students who are presently enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs. This opportunity is open to students from all around the globe.
This program is open to students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in physics or related natural sciences. Students will be exposed to research activities at the Hamburg or Zeuthen facilities as part of this program.
This Summer Student Program is divided into two sections. Aside from group work projects, there will be a series of English-language lectures on DESY research themes. These lectures are delivered both on-site and through Zoom or another online platform.
This is a fully-funded scholarship program for summer students. This scholarship covers all of the expenditures of the students. This program will begin in the summer of 2022 and will run from July 19 through September 8, 2022.
This program is looking for 100 candidates from all across the world to participate.
The IELTS/TOFEL exam is not required for this program. This Summer Student Program is open to students from all academic backgrounds. More information about this program may be found below.

Requirements for the DESY Summer Student Program in Germany 2022 | Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the following requirements to be considered for the DESY program.
- This program is open to undergraduate and master’s students.
- Applicants should not be German citizens.
- Students from all around the world are welcome to apply.
- Applicants who have a master’s degree are unable to apply.
- Candidates should not have attended DESY before.
- Applicants should have a basic understanding of computers.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Documentation is required.
