- You must have possessed O’ level results with at least 5 credits in Maths and English and three other subjects.
- Candidates applying for masters degree programmes must obtain at least second class lower division in the relevant discipline.
- Prospective candidates for Ph.D. programmes must obtain a minimum average score of 60% in their Master’s degree.
- Candidates seeking admission into the Postgraduate Diploma programme must possess a University degree with a minimum grade of a third class, or HND grade with a minimum of Lower Credit.
- Candidates are also advised to prepare for an oral screening or interview as well as a written examination.
Duration of ATBU Postgraduate Programmes.
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
- Full-Time Diploma: Minimum of three semesters and a maximum of six semesters
- Part-Time Diploma: Minimum of four semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.
Masters Degree Programmes
- Full-Time: A minimum of three semesters and a maximum of ten semesters
- Part-Time: A minimum of four semesters and a maximum of eight semesters.
MPhil/Ph.D. Programmes
- Full-Time: A minimum of six semesters and a maximum of ten semesters
- Part-Time: A minimum of eight semesters and a maximum of six semesters.
Ph.D. Programme
- Full-Time: Minimum of four semesters and a maximum of ten semesters
- Part-Time: A minimum of six semesters and a maximum of fourteen semesters.
