Key Responsibilities and Duties

The eligible student will get the opportunity to learn about:

In the distribution environment, reading, writing, and verbal communication – Rational and irrational numbers and number systems
Receiving goods into wholesale or retail outlets – Keeping track of stock levels • Safe stock delivery to consumers – Legal requirements, organization rules, and processes for goods transportation – Administrative tasks associated with stock reception and delivery
Stock packing in properly designated locations • Stock picking – The financial effect of stock on the company – Stock picking, packing, and transportation to minimize damage
Stock movement via the DC/Warehouse – Stock movement recorded on the stock management system
Procedures for taking inventory
The environment in which wholesale and retail businesses operate
Occupational Health and Safety legislation, as well as relevant safety practices in the workplace – Appropriate responses to risks and emergency circumstances
Maintaining housekeeping standards both inside and outside – Maintaining customer service and satisfaction levels
