British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM | Eligibility Criteria

The British Council is searching for women who:

  • are eligible to enroll in a programme of study in the United Kingdom during the academic year September/October 2022–2023
  • have a financial need
  • hold a bachelor’s degree that will allow them to enroll in one of the pre-selected postgraduate programs at a UK institution
  • can achieve the minimum level of English for postgraduate study and research at a UK university
  • are working professionals with job experience or a demonstrated interest in their industry
  • are enthusiastic in their studies and eager to participate as British Council scholarship alumni

How to Apply for the British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM

Women’s British Council Scholarships should be applied for directly to the participating universities.

The application deadline varies for each university, but the latest deadline is April 10, 2022.
