One Young World invites applications for the #BeFree National Prize for Namibians in Japan in 2022.

One Young World is the world’s largest gathering of young leaders. It searches for, promotes, and connects the world’s most important young leaders with the goal of improving the world via more responsible and effective leadership.

The biennial One Young World Summit brings together the best young talent from across the world to collaborate on social impact. Namibian young talent will be able to market their efforts and share them with the rest of the globe.

The prize will honor young Namibians aged 18 to 30 who are spearheading social, technical, cultural, and entrepreneurial activities in areas such as COVID 19 pandemic mitigation, education, access to SRH and SGBV services, mental health, drug misuse, and youth development.

Worth of Award

Access to the Tokyo-hosted One Young World Summit in 2022.

Between the 16th and 19th of May 2022, hotel accommodations will be available.

Traveling to and from Tokyo is expensive (flights in economy).

If the applicant does not have a passport, he or she will have to pay for a passport application.

Breakfast, lunch, and supper will be served between the 16th and 19th of May.

One Young World and the Namibian government will provide each scholar with a comprehensive support package that includes visa and passport assistance, flights, and hotel reservations.
