AIMS Masters in Mathematical Sciences for African Students in Rwanda 2022
For the academic semester 2022/23, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) welcomes applicants for the AIMS Masters in Mathematical Sciences for African Students in Rwanda.
Three semesters make up the AIMS Structured Master’s Program. The AIMS course develops a common core set of problem-solving abilities in the necessary skills phase: estimating, computing, approximation, modeling, data analysis, and statistics.
Students may use their talents in some of the most intriguing fields of science during the optional review period.
During the AIMS course’s final phase, students do research and prepare a scientific report on a subject of their choosing under the supervision of an experienced researcher.
After AIMS, the research begun in these programs often leads to postgraduate study.

AIMS Masters in Mathematical Sciences Requirements
- Applicants must have or intend to have a 4-year university degree in Mathematical or any other Science/Engineering subject with a major mathematics component before the start of AIMS training.
- Candidates must have outstanding math, leadership, and community service abilities on their resumes.
- Applicants who are female are highly encouraged to apply.
