Call for Stories: Africana Futurism – Speculative Fiction from Africa 2022 ($1,000 prize)
Pollicy is excited to announce a Call for Stories for the Africana Futurism – Speculative Fiction from Africa 2022 anthology.
They’re interested in how Africans living on the continent today are investigating, navigating, and engaging with digital technology for this collection.
Pollicy considers literature to be a crucial medium for sharing and constructing their longings, wants, and identities. Exploring how Africans see technology now might help them better understand how to create technology that is both inclusive and empowering for everyone. These anecdotes will go a long way toward documenting Africans’ contributions to the advancement of technology in Africa. They embrace all types of fiction centered on the past, present, and future interaction between Africans and technology.
