Do you have any African-related research interests? Could you approach your study from a multidisciplinary perspective? The King’s College London Africa International PGR Scholarships 2022-23 are now accepting applications.

Three (3) full scholarships are offered for students from Africa who want to pursue full-time doctoral research degrees (PhD) at King’s College London in 2022/23.

  • Peace, Conflict, and Security

Students in this program are exposed to a unique international and interdisciplinary context that includes topics such as healthcare partnerships, global surgery, palliative care, maternal health, global health governance and policy, mental health, aging, cancer, oral health, and mucosal biology, diabetes and other conditions, conflict and health, migration and health, and the environment and health.

  • Development

The study of development at King’s spans a number of disciplines, with a particular focus in the School of Global Affairs, such as development studies with a focus on emerging economies in the Department of International Development; environment and development in the Department of Geography, with the potential to examine disasters and adaptation; and leadership and development at the African Leadership Centre.

  • Digital Technology
