Abdulhadi H Taher Endowed Scholarship for Undergraduate Students at AUC Egypt 2022

For the academic year 2022/2023, the American University in Cairo is accepting applications for the Abdulhadi H Taher Endowed Scholarship for Egyptian Undergraduate Students.

The AUC is a renowned English-language, American-accredited institution of higher education that serves as a hub for the Arab world’s intellectual, social, and cultural life. More than 60 nationalities are represented among its students, parents, instructors and staff, trustees, alumni, and other generous donors.

The University serves as a cultural crossroads and a thriving arena for reasoned discussion, vigorous debate, and understanding across a wide range of languages, facilities, and human experiences.

Worth of Scholarship

The Scholarship will cover:

  • Tuition and fees can be paid in full or in part.
  • Saudi Arabian candidates or Egyptian applicants residing outside of Cairo and Giza are eligible for dorm coverage.

Abdulhadi H Taher Endowed Scholarship | Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold the nationality of Egypt or Saudi Arabia.
  • Meet the criteria for admission to AUC.
  • In Thanaweya Amma or its equivalent in other certifications, get a score of at least 97 percent in the science portion and 94 percent in the arts component.
  • Demonstrate that you have a financial necessity.

Pass the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6 and a writing score of 6 or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum total score of 76 and a writing score of 20.

The scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated financial need as well as exceptional academic accomplishment.
