2022 Sustainable Energy Scholarship at University of Queensland in Australia

2022 Sustainable Energy Scholarship at the University of Queensland in Australia is available for domestic and international students.

The University of Queensland is providing three scholarships to domestic and international students interested in studying the Master of Sustainable Energy starting in semester 2 of 2022.

Worth of Award: Three partial tuition fee scholarships (up to $12,000).

Eligibility:

Applicants must be a first-year student with:

  • A completed undergraduate degree from an Australian or internationally recognized institution in a comparable area of study.

Note: The 2022 Sustainable Energy Scholarship do not apply to the Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Sustainable Energy or any other degree.

Selection criteria:
The Scholarship Selection Panel will assess all applications received that meet the minimum eligibility requirements (above).

The Panel will then use the following selection criteria to rank competitive applications and
award the Scholarships:

  • An excellent academic record and likelihood of success in studies at the Master’s level.
  • Commitment to integrated and interdisciplinary approaches to energy systems, responsible business practice, and contemporary energy challenges.
  • Ability to use the skills learned from the program to influence society more broadly about the energy transition required.
  • Leadership qualities include collaboration and teamwork, flexibility, initiative, communication skills, integrity, and vision through professional, educational, community, and other achievements.
  • Potential to be a strategic ambassador for The University of Queensland.
